Dutch development group Multi Development announced that its flagship Victoria Square scheme in Belfast was awarded the Urban Regeneration Initiative of the Year Award at the Mapic retail property fair held in Cannes last week. The award was presented to the Department for Social Development (DSD) Northern Ireland, which worked in partnership with Multi Development. The £400 mln (EUR 470 mln) mixed-use retail-led development opened to the public in March of this year.
