UK property advisor Savills confirmed on Friday it has closed its office in Hungary as the impact of the credit crisis deepens in the country. Savills opened an office in Budapest in 2006 and hired Peter Chatfield to lead the new business. Chatfield would not comment on the news on Friday but said that he no longer works with the UK property advisor.
As Ares completed a €325 mln French logistics acquisition from Blackstone, another French portfolio came onto the market.
