Rezidor, the Swedish hotel operator, is opening a new hotel near the Baltic Sea in Germany by the end of 2008 as part of its growth strategy in the country. 'We keep on growing in Germany which is one of our most important home markets', said Kurt Ritter, president & CEO of Rezidor. 'Our German portfolio of hotels in operation and under development now comprises 48 properties with over 10,000 rooms.' The property located in the city of Stralsund comprises 114 rooms, two restaurants, a mall and a wellness centre.
