Property demand set to fall - CBI/GVA Grimley Survey

Fewer firms expanded their property portfolios in the UK over the last six months, and firms are planning to reduce their property holdings in the coming half year, according to the latest CBI/GVA Grimley Corporate Real Estate Survey. The survey, conducted between 27 August and 17 September 2008, reveals a balance of +3% of the respondents polled said they had increased their property holdings in the last six months, a slower rate of growth than the previous survey (+15%) and below expectations (+7%).
