Ikea Group is to invest EUR 200 mln in the development of a new store and retail park in Vila Nova de Gaia in Northern Portugal. The company said that the scheme is due to open in the second half of 2012. António Machado, group director for Portugal, said the scheme is Ikea's second in Northern Portugal and the first retail park to be developed in the country by Ikea's development arm - Inter IKEA Centre Group.
As Ares completed a €325 mln French logistics acquisition from Blackstone, another French portfolio came onto the market.
