US private equity firm Carlyle has announced the leasing of over 30,000 m[sup]2[/sup] of commercial space in the Nordic region. Carlyle said it has secured lettings of approximately 10,000 m[sup]2[/sup] in Denmark and 16,000 m[sup]2[/sup] in Finland, which will add to a further 6,000 m[sup]2[/sup] which had already been leased at its Startboxen office development in Stockholm.
The Grand Hotel Imperiale in Forte dei Marmi, Italy has been sold to UAE-based real estate company Emaar Properties, owner of renowned buildings such as the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall.
