CB Richard Ellis heads the first PropertyEU ranking of European agents, with investment volume in Europe and the UK exceeding EUR 40 bn in 2006 and the number of agents totalling 3,802. Jones Lang LaSalle is a very close runner-up in terms of investment volume with EUR 40 bn. However, the number of agents employed by the London-based firm is significantly lower at 2,900.
As Ares completed a €325 mln French logistics acquisition from Blackstone, another French portfolio came onto the market.
