Green Thinkers Magazine
The Green Thinker Award 2010 honours the cities and regions with the greenest environmental strategy in Europe. The selection of contenders is based on a list of 250 initial canditates that are mentioned in the European Commission’s 2007 State of European Cities Report, compiled by Jan Maarten de Vet of Ecorys . The winner will be announced at a special award ceremony at the EXPO REAL 2010 in Munich. The Green Thinker Research Programme 2010 will showcase the cities and regions which are transforming, re-inventing and re-branding themselves to provide a smart, sustainable example of the urban idyll. On our travels from Hamburg to Glasgow, Toulouse to Cork, Mälmo to Helsinki we hope to inspire and reveal to you the shaping of a cleaner, greener Europe. In October 2010 PropertyEU will publish a special edition of its monthly magazine for the Green Thinker Award. The publication will comprise profiles of the competing cities and interviews with city majors and the jury members.
