ICSC conference coming to Amsterdam
Date: 27 April 2007
The annual conference of the European section of the International Council of Shopping Centers is growing so much that it is to be hosted at a major convention centre in Amsterdam in 2008 rather than in a hotel as has been the case up to now.

Noting that up to 1,000 delegates are attending the organisation's 32nd European conference at the recently-opened Hilton Hotel in Warsaw this week, ICSC Europe chairman Jaap Gillis told PropertyEU said the number of attendees is growing steadily year-by-year. The goal is to grow that number to 1,500 next year, he said. The event will be hosted at the RAI convention centre in the south of the Dutch capital from 16 to 18 April 2008.

'A conference of up to 1,000 people can be held in a hotel. For any more than that, you need a larger conference venue,' he said.

The ICSC is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
