Züblin sells Walter Meier HQ to Credit Suisse

Züblin Immobilien Holding has announced the sale of two properties in Switzerland for a total of CHF 78 mln (EUR 61 mln), a premium to the assets' market value at end-September 2010.

The company has divested an office building in Schwerzenbach consisting of nearly 14,500 m2 of space to the Credit Suisse Real Estate Fund Interswiss. The building is home to the headquarters of international air conditioning and production engineering business Walter Meier, which has agreed to occupy the asset until 2020. The transaction price amounted to CHF 75 mln.

Züblin has also sold an asset in Zurich to a private investor.

Züblin Group invests in energy-efficient office buildings in prime location and currently owns a portfolio consisting of 66 assets with a market value of CHF 1.3 bn. Züblin's core markets are Switzerland, France and Germany.
