Wiese named CEO of Sanus

Marc Wiese has been named the CEO of Berlin-based residential real estate company Sanus. Wiese - a trained estate agent - joins Sanus from Victoria Properties in Copenhagen, where he was national director for asset management and investment. Prior to that he held executive positions with German residential proeprty companies GSW and BauBeCon.

Wiese takes up his new position on 1 September, replacing Siegfried Nehls, who will transfer to Sanus' supervisory board.

Sanus, formed in 1996, focuses on the modernisation and redevelopment of historic buildings to sell them to private and institutional investors or owner-occupiers. In addition, the company acts as residential project developer. Over the past 15 years, Sanus has placed more than 1,300 units on the market, and is currently developing around 100,000 m2 of residential space in the German capital.
