Wegner & Schoofs sells retail centre in Eschweiler

Hamburg-based developer Wegner & Schoofs has sold a 12,000 m2 retail centre in Eschweiler, in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany to a family office for an undisclosed amount.

Wegner & Schoofs invested about EUR 18 mln in the scheme, which was delivered in April this year. The asset is currently 95% leased with an average lease length of 10 years. Major tenants include Media Markt and Intersport.

Wegner & Schoofs focuses on the development of commercial and residential assets. Since foundation, the company has developed assets worth over EUR 1.5 bn.
