Vinci sells Nantes retail project to Proudreed

French development group Vinci Immobilier has sold the retail element of the Carré Feydeau development project in Nantes, France to private investor Proudreed and an unnamed Italian partner for an undisclosed amount.

Located in the centre of the city, the scheme will consist of 13,000 m2 of retail space on three levels and 520 parking spaces in Nantes Métropole, as well as 76 residential units. The centre will be anchored by Saturn with 4,000 m2 and Carrefour with 1,900 m2.

Designed by architects Arte Charpentier, the scheme is expected to be delivered in October 2013.

Proudreed is a privately owned reale state company with a portfolio of over EUR 2 bn located mostly in regional cities. The portfolio comprises a majority of logistics assets (40%), with business space representing 25%, offices a further 20% and retail 15%.
