Valad appoints new senior asset manager in Germany

Valad, the European multi-let real estate investment manager, has appointed Thomas Gurski as senior asset manager in Germany. Gurski will lead the Valad team in Region West with responsibility for managing Valad’s existing real estate portfolio in the metropolitan Ruhr area around Dusseldorf and Cologne along with the Frankfurt area, including Kassel. He will be based in Dusseldorf in a new Valad office, to be opened soon, which will service tenants in Region West.

Gurski is a real estate manager with over 15 years experience in portfolio, asset and property management and technical and commercial project development in Germany. Prior to joining Valad, he spent the last three years at Hochtief Property Management where he was head of Asset Management Services. Prior to this he worked for GE Capital Real Estate and Sireo Real Estate in the asset management and development areas of those businesses.

Valad has a team 30 in Germany, operating out of offices in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg, and a new office opening in Dusseldorf, managing approximately EUR 1 bn of assets and over 1,400 tenants, on behalf of four of Valad's 15 funds.
