Valad appoints John Vincent as portfolio manager in UK
Date: 7 September 2010
Category: Appointment
Valad Europe, the pan-European real estate investment manager, has appointed John Vincent as portfolio manager, based in its London office. He takes responsibility on behalf of five of Valad's six UK Funds for a regional portfolio of commercial assets valued at over £150 mln (EUR 180 mln) and totalling 158,000 m2 across the South West of England.

Valad manages 1.5 million m2 of space and has EUR 1.2 bn funds under management in the UK alone, almost a quarter of its total European funds under management.

Vincent joins from Interserve where he was head of estates strategy and advice. Prior to this he worked for Guardian Properties, Healey & Baker and REIT Asset Management.

His appointment comes as a result of Valad's strategy to expand its EUR 5.1 bn investment management business across Europe and its focus on helping its investors and banking partners with their often complex portfolio needs.
