Valad has appointed James Sullivan as European general legal counsel. He will provide in-house legal support to Valad's European real estate investment management business. Sullivan was formerly the managing director of PIL Invests.

He has experience in creating and managing private equity real estate funds and has international general commercial and corporate legal experience including cross-border joint ventures, recapitalisations and restructurings.
