Vailog leases 32,000 m2 to Amazon in Italy

Amazon, the world's largest online retailer, is officially starting operations in Italy with a 32,000 m2 lease in a new distribution space in Vailog's CSG logistics park in Castel San Giovanni (Piacenza), South of Milan.

Amazon expects to employ over 300 people in the country by the end of the year, with CSG logistics park being the centre of its activities in the country.

With over 355,000 m2 of distribution space, the logistics park is one of the largest in Italy and boasts a Very Good rating under BREEAM environmentally-sustainable standards. Main tenants include Geodis, Giochi Preziosi, Moncler, Bosch, DSV, and Yamaha.
