Category: Logistics
German cosmetics manufacturer Wet Wipes International has purchased Unilever's manufacturing plant in Nelahozeves, 25 km north of Prague, for an undisclosed amount.

The company plans to move its expanding manufacture of wet wipes there. The plot of land measures 87,000 m2 and it contains modern manufacturing, storage, and office space with the total floor area in excess of 30,000 m2. C&W's industrial team acted as a broker in the sale of the property.

The new owner of the property intends to make use of only 5,000 m2 for its manufacturing purposes, while the rest of the premises is to be offered for let or for sale.

Unilever purchased the property as part of the privatisation drive in 1992.
