Unibail-Rodamco unveils EUR 321m Aeroville mall project

Unibail-Rodamco, Europe's largest listed real estate company, has announced plans to begin construction of its Aeroville shopping centre project in a northern suburb of Paris within the next two months. The total investment cost is expected to be about EUR 321 mln. Aeroville is scheduled for completion by end-2013.

Located in Tremblay-en-France, Roissy-en-France and on Paris Airports land, at the crossroads of the A1 motorway and Paris's Francilienne ring road, the future shopping and services centre will have a catchment area of 1.8 million residents stretching from Paris' northern edge to the city of Compiègne.

Aeroville will cover a surface area of 80,000 m2 GLA and comprise 200 shops, 25 restaurants, nurseries, medical centres spas, plus a latest generation Auchan hypermarket, that includes a Drive service.
