The Urban Land Institute (ULI) has appointed Joe Montgomery as its new CEO for ULI Europe. Montgomery is currently director general of the Thames Gateway regeneration scheme in London. He will take up his new position at ULI Europe at the end of March.

Montgomery replaces Bill Kistler who stepped down last October to take up a new position with the real estate division of US executive search firm Korn/Ferry International.

Montgomery's appointment was announced at ULI Europe's annual conference in Paris this week. Next year the conference will be held on 31 January to 1 February.
