UK private investor Topland said on Wednesday that it has received planning consent for its landmark City headquarters building at 33 King William Street.

The development will occupy an island site and comprise 220,000 sq ft (20,400 m2) of highly specified office space. A marketing campaign will commence early next year with completion of the new building in 2017.

Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed as the leasing agent on the scheme. GreycoatCore, a joint venture between Greycoat and Core, acted on behalf of Topland.
