JLL appointed to market Kiev's Domosfera mall

Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed as exclusive consultant for a new 38,000-m2 shopping and entertainment park which is being developed in Kiev as part the larger Domosfera multifunctional complex.

The scheme, which is planned to open in the third quarter of 2012, is being built by local firm DeVision. Financing is being provided by Oschadbank of Ukraine.

It will include a grocery hypermarket, a home appliances and electronics megastore, a shopping gallery with more than 70 stores as well as a large entertainment area with a multiplex cinema, children's entertainment center, bowling, billiards, restaurants and a food court.

The Domosfera multi-use complex offers a total of 130,000 m2 including the Ramada Encore three-star hotel-apartment complex and office facilities.

'The financing has been completely received and we are sure that the commissioning will take place at the scheduled time,' said Oleg Ponomarev, Chief Operating Officer of DeVision. 'I am confident that this project will lead to a new level of real estate development and project competition in Ukraine.'

DeVision was founded in Kiev in 2002. The company owns a 1 million m2 portfolio valued at over $1.3 bn.
