Date: 4 May 2010
Category: Office
French property firm Terreïs has committed to invest EUR 56 mln in the acquisition of a portfolio consisting of seven office properties in the Paris region. The transaction reflects a yield of 7.4 %.

The portfolio includes six Paris office assets leased to a number of tenants including Société Générale and Eaux de Paris as well as an office building on the outskirts of the French capital leased to Foncia.

The company said that the deal will be completed within the next three months. Terreis is currently in talks with its banks to negotiate the terms of a financing facility.

'Since the beginning of the year, Terreis has looked very closely at acquisition opportunities of quality assets, as borrowing conditions are still extremely attractive,' the company said.

The company, which reported nearly 68% growth year-on-year in its Q1 rental income, added that 'it will continue to take advantage of attractive borrowing conditions to increase its portfolio.'
