STE clinches EUR 45m refinancing
Date: 2 May 2011
Category: Deal
Société de la Tour Eiffel (STE) has completed the refinancing of its La Poste portfolio comprising 12 properties valued at EUR 85 mln. In a statement on Monday, the French SIIC said that it was granted a new EUR 45 mln seven-year credit facility by Société Générale (CIG) and BECM (Crédit Mutuel).

The previous debt was not renewable because it had been securitised, STE added.

Additionally, the company said it has found a first tenant for its HQE-certified Topaz office development in Vélizy. General Mills, the US food conglomerate, will occupy 2,500 m2 in the 14,000-m2 complex.

The tenant was represented by Cushman & Wakefield while CBRE acted for the landlord.
