Category: Retail
Greece's Danaos Development has selected Glavbolgarstroy and Arcon Constructions as the main construction companies for the Sofia Ring Mall project in the Bulgarian capital.

Sofia Ring Mall - held in the South Ring Mall Sofia EAD purpose vehicle - will be one of the biggest shopping centres in Bulgaria with 70,000 m2 of GLA over 200 shops and 3,500 parking spaces. Colliers International is the exclusive leasing consultant of the project.

Situated on the newly extended South curve of the Ring road, Sofia Ring Mall is directly connected with IKEA's first hypermarket in Bulgaria through a pedestrian connection and a common underground parking facility. Distributed on three levels, Sofia Ring is anchored by a 10,000 m2 hypermarket and a 7,000 m2 DIY store. The two upper floors, with over 150 units, will be focused on fashion.

The opening of the project is planned for 2013.
