STE sells Grenoble office
Date: 16 September 2011
Category: Deal
French real estate investment trust Société de la Tour Eiffel has completed the sale of Viseo, a modern 11,500 m2 office complex in the Montbonnot scientific park, situated to the north of Grenoble, for EUR 19 mln.

The buyer is a fund managed by the Caisse d’Epargne Midi Pyrénées.

The disposal is in line with the company’s strategy of pulling out of isolated provincial properties and concentrating on the Parisian region and its Parc Eiffel nationwide chain, Managing Director Robert Waterland said. 'This transaction demonstrates the robustness of the investment market for quality offices as well as illustrating the liquidity of our property assets.'

Quoted on the Euronext Paris Exchange, Société de la Tour Eiffel pursues a strategy focused on the ownership and the development of quality office and business space and has a portfolio of over EUR 1 bn of assets spread evenly between the Paris area and the regions.
