Skanska divests logistics property in Gothenburg

Skanska has divested a logistics property in Gothenburg for SEK 305 mln (EUR 33 mln). The buyer is an investment consortium of Wilfast Förvaltning and Norwegian Ness Risan & Partners.

The capital gain for Skanska is SEK 79 mln.

The property, with cargo terminal and office premises, totals 20,400 m2. It was completed in 2009 and is fully leased to DHL Freight. The new owner will take possession of the property this month.

Skanska Commercial Development Nordic initiates and develops property projects in office, logistics, business premises and commercial buildings. The company’s operations are concentrated in metropolitan regions in Sweden, the Copenhagen region in Denmark, the Oslo region in Norway, as well as Helsinki in Finland. The development of logistics and volume retail properties is conducted in strategic areas in Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
