Savills expands German business with Cologne office

International real estate adviser Savills has opened a new office in Cologne with a five-strong team recruited from BNP Paribas Real Estate as part of a wider growth strategy in Germany.

The team will focus on office and industrial lettings, Savills said in a statement on Wednesday.

The Cologne office is headed by director Elmar Wirths, previously responsible for building up BNP PRE's North Rhine-Westphalia industrial team, supported by senior consultant Tim Odehnal on the industrial side. Office lettings are led by associate directors Simon Löseke and Danijel Dzerek with support from consultant Julian Turner. Further recruitments are planned.
