Category: Alternative
Specialist hotel real estate broker Soric International said it has been appointed to handle the sale of the privately-owned Quinta Splendida on the Portuguese Island of Madeira. The 166-room resort has recently undergone major investment, including the addition of a 1,400-m2 luxury Wellness Spa. Hotel group Steigenberger is the preferred partner to operate the property.

With breathtaking views over the ocean and nearby Desertas islands, the resort has 166 large bedrooms, five dining rooms, two bars, conference and banqueting facilities and a world class luxury Wellness Spa with its own bedroom suites. Located between Funchal International Airport and the island's capital, Funchal, Quinta Splendida is a ten minute drive from Madeira's key locations, including Santa Cruz, Santo de Sierra Golf Club and Palheiro Golf Club.

'With plenty of space available in the extensive grounds for additional construction, adjacent land available for possible purchase and the potential to renovate the hotel based on existing proposals, Quinta Splendida offers investors an opportunity to create a top-end asset and to drive room rates,' said Mark Blick, managing director at Soric International.
