Redevco said it has invested some EUR 25 mln in the development and extension of four projects in Belgium. The schemes, which were all delivered in the past two months, are Phase I of Flémalle and Mons-Ghlin, the Fléron retail project and the first three units of a retail park in Drogenbos, close to the Brussels ring road.

The Drogenbos project currently offers 28,500 m2, and is scheduled to open in full in spring 2012.

After refurbishment and expansion, the four projects comprise more than 86,000 m2, from 71,000 m2 previously. Redevco Belgium's development portfolio consists of some 350 properties, representing a total area of around 6 million m2, with strong development potential, the company said.

Redevco has 23 projects in the pipeline, comprising a total area of some 150,000 m2.
