Redevco appoints new managing director in Belgium

Dutch property company Redevco has announced that Eric van Dyck (47) is to succeed Marc van Heddeghem as managing director of Redevco Belgium by the end of this year. Van Heddeghem will retire at the beginning of 2011 as planned.

Van Dyck is currently managing partner of Cushman & Wakefield's Belgian operation. He leaves Cushman & Wakefield after 26 years with the firm. During his career he ran the Retail Agency team for 10 years, set up a separate Retail Investment department in 1993 and became Managing Partner of the Brussels office in 2002. He was appointed Equity Partner in 1995 and is also a member of C&W’s EMEA Board and chairman for the Netherlands, Greece and Germany.

From 1 May, Van Dyck will be succeeded in the role of managing partner of C&W’s Brussels office by Koen Nevens (41). Nevens joined C&W in 1994 and has established and led the retail warehouse agency and investment department. He was promoted to an Equity Partner in 2004.
