Category: Retail
Redevco Netherlands has acquired a retail property, plus commonhold covering 1,500 m2 at Herestraat 72-74 on the main shopping street of the northern Dutch city of Groningen. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The properties are fully let to C&A and Men at Work. Redevco already owns an adjacent property that is let to C&A and Game Mania.

Redevco acquired all the commonholds at Herestraat 72, which is connected to the existing Redevco property. The Amsterdam-based property group now owns 7,000 m2 of prime retail real estate on the site.

Redevco said the acquired property has one of the highest footfalls in Groningen and will benefit from the enlargement of the Men at Work store and the opening of a Zara store on the opposite side of the street.
