Date: 15 February 2011
Category: Office
German fund manager Real IS has purchased the Ansgarhof office building at Hamburg's Valentinskamp for its Spezialfonds BGV IV. The property was sold for an undisclosed amount by Tishman Speyer.

The deal is the second investment by Real IS for the BGV IV investment fund, and brings the total acquisition volume so far to just over EUR 100 mln, according to a company spokesperson. Last year the vehicle bought the Toren op Zuid tower in Rotterdam from Commerz Real Investment.

Ansgarhof offers around 16,200 m2 of office space leased with a long-term agreement to a number of tenants including Funk Gruppe. The property was redeveloped by Tishman Speyer in 2010.

BGV IV was launched in 2010 with equity of around EUR 380 mln and a target size of EUR 700 mln.
