Category: Fund News
German fund manager Real IS said that it raised EUR 608 mln of capital from investors last year, an increase of more than 33% on the EUR 44 mln raised in 2009.

The equity placed in institutional funds amounted to EUR 396 mln and a further EUR 212 mln was contributed to closed-end public funds.

Real IS said that the increase in comparison to 2009 is mainly due to the higher demand by institutional investors. The newly founded capital investment company closed its first special fund with committed capital amounting to approximately EUR 378 mln last summer.
