Date: 5 May 2011
Category: Company
Quintain Estates and Development has hired investment banker Maxwell James to support Adrian Wyatt on the flagship Wembley City regeneration scheme in London. James will take on day-to-day responsibility for delivering a number of key milestones for the project, including overseeing the delivery of the London Designer Outlet and the next phase of development on the North West lands.

He will also be seeking to secure additional third-party investment and finance for the company's urban regeneration activities.

In addition, James will be working with Quintain Fund Management to devise solutions for real estate lenders and borrowers to restructure and recapitalise property assets. This will provide Quintain with new sources of income through the creation of funds and joint ventures.

James brings extensive experience in real estate banking and corporate finance to the group. Before joining Quintain, he was Chief Executive of Lowndes Partners, a specialist real estate investment bank, which he founded in 2006. Previously, he was global head of Real Estate at HSBC Investment Bank and a director of Lazard.
