Italian fund manager Prelios has emerged a winner at the 2011 European Property Investment Awards promoted by the Investment Property Databank (IPD) for the second consecutive year.
Prelios's Clarice Light Industrial property fund is the Italian winner in the category 'specialized fund', having achieved the highest return over the last three years relative to the country's sector benchmark. Clarice Light Industrial is a closed-end property investment fund dedicated to Italian and foreign institutional investors. Its portfolio includes 70 fully-let buildings mainly for light-industrial use.
In 2010, Prelios won the same award with its Cloe core property fund.
