Italy's Prelios appoints new CEO

Italian listed property services group Prelios appointed Paolo Bottelli to the position of new Chief Executive during a shareholder meeting held last Thursday. Former CEO Giulio Malfatto will assume the role of vice-president reporting to president Marco Tronchetti Provera.

Bottelli has over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, starting his career at ILC Finanziaria in Rome. He subsequently held a number of positions at Deutsche Bank Leasing, and Knight Frank's London office. He joined Prelios (formerly Pirelli Real Estate) in 1994 and has been in charge of the German and Polish businesses of the group since 2009. In this position, he played a major role in the restructuring of the German activities and the Highstreet and Baubecon portfolios.

The Milan-based company also said that it has appointed a new management board of 15 directors, including eight independent ones.
