Category: Logistics
Goodman has received planning consent for its Thurrock commercial park in Essex, UK, where the logistics specialist is to deliver a 12,000 m2 facility for consumer media company A&N Media.

A&N Media will relocate to Thurrock from its existing site in Surrey Quays in a move that represents an investment of £50 mln (EUR 57 mln) in the new plant.

The facility, which is aiming to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating, is due for completion in June 2012.

Separately Goodman has let 1.6 hectares of land to The Co-operative Group to use as yard space for its vehicles. This land represents the remaining available space for phase I of development at Thurrock Commercial Park, which is now fully pre-let.

Goodman is meanwhile starting marketing of the remaining phase 2 of development, which comprises 12 acres or design and build opportunities for 22,300 m2 of industrial space.
