Panattoni to build new Polish facility for Tech Data
Date: 5 April 2011
Category: Logistics
Logistics group Panattoni Europe will start construction this month of a second 17,000-m2 building in its Park Swiecice distribution centre near Warsaw following the signing of a lease with IT distributor Tech Data. The new agreement brings the total occupancy rate at the Panattoni Park Swiecice development project to 100%.

'This is the biggest lease transaction concluded by the Industrial and Warehouse Space Department of C&W in Poland in the first quarter of 2011. The Warsaw region remains the most appealing location for tenants, with almost one third of Poland's warehousing transactions taking place in this area last year,' said Kamila Pruk of C&W, which acted for Panattoni.

Panattoni has around 280,000 m2 of modern warehousing space in the area.

Panattoni Park Swiecice will comprise two buildings with a total space of 33,700 m2. The first building is a Built-To-Suit facility of 16,700 m2 which is being developed for a client from the food industry.
