Warehousing operator and developer Panattoni Europe is expanding its warehouse park portfolio in Silesia, Poland with the development of a new 30,600 m2 facility. Construction of the Panattoni Park Gliwice I and Panattoni Park Gliwice II projects is expected to start in March-April this year.

Park Gliwice II has already found its first tenant in Saint-Gobain Glass Polska, a leading manufacturer of glass for the construction and motor industry which will take 4,000 m2 for production purposes. The remaining 250 m2 will serve as office space.

Panattoni Park Gliwice II is made up of one 8,000 m2 building. The facility is located within the Katowice Special Economic Zone - Gliwice Subzone, and as a result its customer is eligible for tax reliefs due to operating a business in this area.

Panattoni Park Gliwice I will comprise two buildings consisting of a Built-To-Suit facility with 11,200 m2 of space, dedicated to a logistics company, and a building offering speculative space of nearly 11,500 m2. The facilities are located near the borders with the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Separately, Panattoni Europe has announced that it has signed an agreement with Adelardis to become leasing manager of a 20,000-m2 logistics property in Pilsen. Panattoni will also be responsible for the asset management of the logistics centre.
