PointPark Properties (P3) has announced the appointment of Piotr Was as leasing and development director of its Polish unit.

Was is a real estate professional with 11 years of experience in the CEE logistic and industrial markets. Prior to joining P3, he was the CEE leasing director at Parkridge Central & Eastern Europe, and before then he covered the position of leasing manager at ProLogis. Was holds an MA degree in International Relations from Warsaw University, he is a qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

In Romania, P3 has hired Stefan Gheorghiu to lead its operations in the country, starting on June 1. He has 15 years of local as well as international real estate experience and brings with him a wealth of development and asset management expertise. Stefan spent six years at the commercial real estate firm Colliers International as a senior consultant in Bucharest and Mexico City, and subsequently held the position of corporate services director in Bucharest, being responsible for the development of the company's corporate services in Romania and in the entire Central and Eastern European region.

Prior to joining P3, Stefan held the position of Commercial Director at Willbrook International, where he was responsible for the creation of the asset management department of the company as well as for running the sales and marketing departments for Romania, Georgia and Bulgaria.
