Orion fund takes 50% in Leeds office park

A fund managed by Orion Capital Managers has acquired a 50% interest in a business park in the UK city of Leeds to form a joint venture with the owner. The investment volume for the transaction was not disclosed but it is believed to be in the region of £65 mln (EUR 74 mln).

The vendor of the 50% stake in White Rose Office Park is specialist property investment company Munroe K. The asset comprises 44,000 m2 of leasable area and Munroe K is planning a phased expansion of the business park located just under 5 kilometres from the centre of Leeds. The park adjoins the White Rose Shopping Centre and bus station.

White Rose Office Park is fully occupied apart from a 650 m2 suite which will coming to the Yorkshire property market in the next few months.
