Orchard Street boost assets by EUR 1b in 2011

UK-based investment manager Orchard Street increased its assets under management by £800 mln (EUR 970 mln) to £2.5 bn and completed £580 mln of investment transactions in 2011.

Since January 2011, Orchard Street has acquired nineteen properties with a combined value of £414 mln. The average initial yield on acquisitions was 6.3% and on disposals 5.7%, the company said.

‘While there is much uncertainty in the politics and markets that surround us, we are comfortable to have fairly fully invested client portfolios,’ said chairman Chris Bartram.
