Swedish property company Norrporten has announced the sale of its entire portfolio in Linkoping, Sweden and other eight assets in the cities of Sundsvall and Luleå to local investor Fastighetsaktiebolaget Lilium for SEK 1.4 bn (EUR 154 mln).

The portfolio comprises 15 commercial real estate assets, mostly offices, providing 105,000 m2 of total space. Norrporten's staff in Linköping will join Lilium, which is the real estate investment arm of the Liljedahl Group.

'This transaction means that we can increase our investments in Stockholm and in the foreign markets we are active, Copenhagen and Hamburg,' said Jörgen Lundgren, executive vice president of Norrporten. The deal will also give the company the financial headroom to carry out its SEK 2 bn development pipeline, he added.

Norrporten owns and manages 138 commercial properties in Luleå, Umeå, Sundsvall, Gävle, Stockholm, Örebro, Linköping, Jönköping, Växjö, Helsingborg, Copenhagen and Hamburg. The properties have a total floor area of 1.1 million m2 and a market value of SEK 20 bn.

Liljedahl Group is a family owned international corporate group founded in 1982. The group has business activities in Scandinavia, Europe and China.
