Neinver, MAB to open Roppenheim outlet in spring 2012
Date: 1 June 2011
Category: Retail
Spanish retail specialist Neinver and Dutch developer MAB have scheduled the opening for their joint Roppenheim The Style Outlets in France for spring 2012. In a statement on Tuesday, the partners confirmed that the development of the outlet centre is progressing according to plan and meeting the deadlines.

'Since Neinver and MAB Development have taken over the project, the highly-anticipated Roppenheim brand name outlet centre has become a reality,' said Mayte Legeay, director of Neinver France. 'As of today, we have reached our marketing objectives.'

Designed by Thalès Architectures, the scheme will group 107 shops in a gross leasable surface of 27,280 m2 and will also provide 50,000 m2 of green area on a lakeshore near the French village of Roppenheim and the German border.

'All the buildings will be under construction by the end of summer and the towers will be finished in September 2011,' added Marc Vaquier, Chief Executive Officer of MAB Development France.

In France, MAB Development and Neinver are working together on several outlet projects under the The Style Outlets name, including Roppenheim and Honfleur, in Normandy. The companies announced in April last year that they were teaming up to develop factory outlet centres in France and in Germany.
