Multi's Königsgalerie Duisburg opens its doors

Multi Development's Königsgalerie Duisburg shopping centre opened its doors last week following a two-year redevelopment involving an investment of EUR 80 mln.

The scheme - Multi's second in the German city of Duisburg - was redeveloped to offer about 20,000 m2 comprising 50 retail shops, catering facilities and office, service businesses and 320 parking spaces. Previously known as Galeria Duisburg, the complex is owned by Corio.

Königsgalerie Duisburg was designed by Brunner and Ritz, who created Forum Duisburg's iconic Golden Ladder.

Tenants include H&M and Mango, G-Star, Gerry Weber, Wellensteyn, Depot, Calida, Königsgalerie Fitness Centre and Essanelle.
