Multi wins International Retail Leisure Destination of the Year Award

Forum Istanbul, developed by Multi Development Turkey, has won the International Retail & Leisure Destination of the Year Award. The award was presented on Thursday evening at the RLI Gala Dinner in London.

The shopping mall was lauded for delivering the most customers, providing the best global offering and the most dynamic approach to property development. Maarten de Mooy, Multi's International Leasing Director, accepted the award on behalf of his colleagues in Istanbul, Turkey and Gouda.

Opened in October 2009, Forum Istanbul is built on an area of 495,000 m2 with 175,000 m2 of leased retail area including an IKEA of 29,500 m2 and the largest Real hypermarket in Turkey of 15,000 m2. The mall boasts leading brand names such as Tepe Home, Saturn, Mudo, D&R, YKM and Teknosa.

Forum Istanbul also houses the biggest number of international anchors including Praktiker, C&A, M&S, Zara, along with some 280 national and international brands, including Mango, Stradivarius, Bershka, Oysho, Starbucks and the first Motivi store in Turkey.
