Multi opens Forum Sintra in Portugal

Multi Development has announced the opening of Forum Sintra shopping centre in Portugal. Developed and managed by Multi Mall Management Portugal, the centre is 98% let.

Forum Sintra has 55,000 m2 of shopping area with 182 shops on three floors including the Pingo Doce supermarket, a food court with 20 restaurants and a 7-screen Castello Lopes cinema. It has basement parking for 2,520 cars and 130 outside. The anchor stores are Pingo Doce, Primark, Zara, H&M, Worten, Sportzone, C&A, New Yorker and Modalfa. About 20 of the shops belong to local shopkeepers trading either under their own names or as franchisees of other brands.

The centre represents a total investment of EUR 170 mln and has led to the creation of 2,500 new jobs directly and 800 indirectly.
