MPC Capital bags Philip Morris HQ project in Munich

German developer and asset manager Investa Group has sold the iCU - Intelligence Cube office development project located in Gräfelfing, near Munich, to MPC Capital. The companies agreed not to disclose the transaction price.

The building will house the new German headquarters of tobacco manufacturer Philip Morris on completion in November this year. The property has a preliminary 'Silver' energy-efficiency rating with DGNB and provides 13,700 m2 of office space.

Construction of the five-storey property started in April 2010 with financial backing from Eurohypo. Law firm Clifford Chance advised the seller.
