MAPIC: Multi signs on for redevelopment of Amsterdam mall

Netherlands-based developers Multi Development and Kroonenberg Group are teaming up to redevelop and expand the Gelderlandplein shopping centre in Amsterdam. The mall opened in 1968 and Kroonenberg has owned it for four years.

Multi is working in close consultation on the development plan, while Kroonenberg Group is the developer. The project will be realised in several phases, starting in 2013.

Kroonenberg Group operates in the commercial real estate market in the Netherlands and US.

Multi Development is part of Multi Corporation, the largest development company in Europe. The company is involved in owning and managing shopping centres, mixed-use projects and urban renewal schemes.
